Kassel Taeza has a BA in Sociology from Sonoma State University and has been with BBBS Maui since 2007.  Born in the Philippines and raised on Maui, Kassel does not forget where she came from and that it is the greatest tool get to where she wants to go.  That is one of the lessons taught by her mother, a single parent, that has always stayed with her and made the person she is today.  Her passion has always been to work with children and families and to give back to her community.

"Big Brothers Big Sisters has allowed me to be a positive contributor to my community and in turn has made me a person my family are proud.  And most importantly, a person that I am proud of."
